Pastor’s Pen – It is with great sadness as we again witness of terrorism in London and the tragic loss of life. Our world continues in a spiral of which we have never experienced before. We pray for the families of those who were killed in this evil attack and also for the churches in England. We pray they share the hope of Jesus Christ and the comfort that only God can bring in such times. We are constantly reminded of the times in which we are now living. The Bible describes such times as the Last Days. May we not be influenced by the vigour of our enemy Satan and his followers. Instead may we through the power of the Holy Spirit rise to the occasion here in our own nation and fulfil our roles as overcomers. Our nation needs it, our community needs it and our family needs it. Now is not the time to be far from the cross and God’s people, the church. Now is the time to encourage, to pray and to share the good news of the gospel in a world that is being bombarded with bad news over and over. 1Co 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Parents remember to teach and assist your children to experience the joy of giving in worship to their Lord and Saviour. It thrills each of their little hearts when they are able to experience such.
