Daily devotion – When we don’t have the words
The Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered – Romans 8:26.
There are times in our lives that we will all face when we just don’t know exactly how we should pray for a matter. We are overwhelmed with the direction we need to choose, to what action we should or should not take. We come to the Lord and we simply don’t know what to put into words – much less pray about them?
It is at such a time that the Apostle Paul penned these amazing words for us – the Holy Spirit comes to our rescue and intervenes in a supernatural way. He leads us in prayer that is in accordance with the will of our Heavenly Father – praise the Lord!
The very Spirit of God brings the deepest cries of our hearts before the throne of God and in this amazing way – He leads our pray just right.
Think of that – even when we do not know how to pray, the Holy Spirit knows our needs exactly and in this way He lays before God our situation just right.
This week, turn to God with confidence in every situation. Even when you do not feel like it. The Holy Spirit will intercede for you, and it will be in accordance to God’s will for your life.
That is simply wonderful!
