Daily devotion – Worry!
“The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” – Psalm 145:18
We have spoken about worry on previous occasions. Why deal with it again? Because we continue to worry!
Think of the things that you do NOT worry about for a moment.
Like, you never worry about whether you will be able to grab a glass of water from the kitchen tap. Or maybe you don’t worry about a tree landing on your house.
Even the worst worrier in the world does not worry about some things!
Today, ask yourself why you do not worry about such things. Is it because, in the case of grabbing a drink from the kitchen tap, it has always been there when you needed it? Or that a tree has not fallen on your house before?
Certainty breeds trust.
You and I can be just as certain and equally worry free about God’s love and protection for us. What is the evidence? We need look no further than the Cross of Calvary, where Jesus Christ fully revealed His love for us.
The Bible tells us, “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all – how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?” – Romans 8:32
God’s love for you is certain. He has never gone back on one single promise, and He never will.
Bless you today and don’t worry!
