This Week at CCSH – Welcome to CCSH this morning – just 41 Days until Christmas! Calvary ladies we have a special announcement today concerning your end of year fellowship gathering. In addition, this Tuesday here at the Chapel, at 9:30am seize the opportunity to gather with other godly women for a time of study in God’s Word, prayer, support, fellowship, and friendship. Don’t miss this special time to be together! Tonight, Pastor Israel begins a new series from Hebrews chapter 11 – titled “A Life of Faith” beginning with tonight’s message “Trust!”. Should you desire counsel or prayer this morning, our pastors will be available to meet with you at the front of the sanctuary directly after this morning’s service. It’s time to start praying and inviting family and friends to join with you for our special Christmas Eve service – 6:00pm, 24th Dec. If you would like to serve that evening, please see Thomas Woodage for further information. As Christmas looms large, we encourage you to join others here Wednesday evening as we seek the Lord in prayer for all the families of CCSH.
From the Pastor’s Desk As I read yesterday’s evening news from around the world, I continue to see an escalation of anxiety and concern in many countries of the world. That first Christmas when Jesus Christ entered a dark depressed and violent world as a child born in a manger, we all remember the angels’ words as they sang to the small number of shepherds watching their flocks by night. Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings…on earth peace, good will…” You may be thinking what happened? Christmas reminds us that Jesus Christ came into our world to bring us firstly personal peace. To all who would accept Him as their Lord and Saviour, God still today brings peace to our troubled lives. In addition, as we are living in the Last Days, at Christ’s Second Coming He will bring a world peace. A peace that He alone can achieve because He is the Prince of Peace. Christmas reminds each of us that right now if we call upon Him, he will answer our prayer and come into our troubled lives and brings us a peace that passes all understanding. Today if you are without peace, repent of your sins, call upon the name of Jesus Christ and you will be saved, and peace will finally rest in your soul! Don’t leave it undone – receive Christ today.
Isa 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given;
Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.
