Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
Raising children in a fallen world is no easy task. Every child who is made in the image of God is completely different from every other person on the planet. They have a unique personality and God has a beautiful plan for each.
The role of the parent is to raise this beautiful child in God’s plan!
Firstly, see your children as a gift from Almighty God. He, the Creator of the Universe, has entrusted these lives into your hands. You are to see them as a gift from His hands personally.
Secondly, let them know without ceasing, that you love them – show affection to them.
Teach them right from wrong and help them to come before God when they make mistakes.
SPEND TIME WITH THEM – Time is a treasure that you are given each day not to waste. Build memories and not regrets with your time!
Third, be an example of faith. Pray with them, read the Bible to them, and let them see that Jesus Christ is important to you.
With God’s enabling, you can be the kind of parent they need!
