This Week at CCSH – We want to welcome you all here today as we worship Jesus Christ and study His precious Word. Time to be praying for invited family and friends you are hoping will join with you for our special Christmas Eve service – 6:00pm, 24th Dec. Christmas truly is a time for giving and CCSH has always been an amazing fellowship that excels when the need arises. Our local minister Mr Paul Papalia is overseeing the Local Christmas Appeal seeking donations of non-perishable foods and unwrapped gifts for children in our local area. The closing date for this appeal is Friday 3rd December. Starting next week there will be an area and containers, allotted a space at the rear of the sanctuary for you to bring you donations. Let us bring a blessing as we give to this appeal! . Calvary Women – including our young teens– sign-up sheet in the foyer for your coming End of Year Celebration – 10th December Friday here at the chapel from 7-9pm. Don’t forget your Christmas gift ($10-$15) so that everyone can receive an additional blessing. Calvary Young Adults – “Friendsgiving” Sat. 27th November here at the Chapel – 6:30 PM – Please bring a plate to share.

From the Pastor’s Desk The day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night – 1 Thess 5:2 As Christians, we have no reason to go around wringing our hands, wondering what we will do in the face of our present world situation! The Bible says that in the midst of persecution, (12 Christians currently dying for their faith every hour), confusion, wars, (China threatening Australia) and rumours of wars. We are instead to be comforting one another with the knowledge that Jesus Christ is coming back in triumph, glory and majesty! Each time I go to bed at night I wonder when I wake and look at the sun rising, that perhaps today is the day He will return for His Church. But until that day, God is still working – and so should we. In a world filled with turmoil and hopelessness, we are to pray, and we are to do all we can to alleviate suffering and bring Christ’s love to others. May Jesus’ words become true today in your life. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven – Matthew 5:16

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving 2 Corinthians 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary to not distract others – thank you for your assistance in this matter.
