Diary notes – Next Sunday it’s our special Father’s Day service. As previously, due to Father’s Day there will be no Sunday evening service next week. Be sure to invite dad and grandad along. October 20th Sunday evening – a special Q & A with our guest Pastor Ian Toh from Singapore. November 10th – our “Andrew Sunday” service and lunch. At the information booth is a sign up sheet for those intending to invite someone to our Andrew Sunday Outreach – this will assist in ordering the number of Bibles required and for catering purposes. Calvary Young Adults met last night and if you would like to be part of the next gathering please see Ps Marlon or Hannah Le Chat for further information. This Wednesday evening beside prayer, the men and women will meet to have a designated study for each group. It’s a unique time to gather as men and as women to help us to grow to be men and women of God. There are still some great opportunities to serve in the media team – please see Ps Marlon for details.
From the Pastor’s Desk
No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly – Psalm 84:11 Someone once said there are just as many stars in the sky at noon as at midnight, just that we cannot see them because of the sun’s glare. Jesus is with us just not in our storms and trials but also He went to a wedding in Cana as well as had a evening meal with a man called Zacchaeus. We probably won’t ever understand our trials until we are in heaven. But I believe we will also be amazed when we realize how God has been with us in the good times also. You are never alone – what a blessing it is to know this!
Israel Tour It’s just 137 days until we walk where Jesus walked in the Holy Land January 7th 2020 – For ALL enquiries please contact Sheldon Loader. Sign up at the information desk. Don’t miss this opportunity!
Grace Giving
CCSH gives you the opportunity for your grace offering to be dropped in the container at the left side of the sanctuary – CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089 for those who wish to give electronically. Proverbs 3:9 – Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Parents, it’s important to train and teach our children to be grace givers. It brings such a blessing when we give. Enable the opportunity to enjoy this blessing in their lives.
