daily devotion – Holocaust Remembrance Day
Holocaust Remembrance Day
We at this time are called on to remember the horrors of the Holocaust and to pray that such “never happens again.” But as I read the news from around the world, I see anti-Semitism growing and increasing acts of violence carried out on people simply because they are Jewish.
Such treatment of God’s people is purely evil! We as Christians and followers of Christ must never sit by and allow any such mistreatment of God’s chosen people Israel, to occur without our intervening.
“If we held a moment of silence for every victim of the holocaust, we would be silent for 11 ½ years.”
The Bible calls on us to pray for the peace of Israel and to ask God’s blessing to be upon them. Let us here at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour, always be an advocate and a vocal support to these blessed people who are and always will be God’s chosen people.
Gen 12:2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
