Coming Events ––Welcome to CCSH this morning, especially if you are visiting with us. You can find more detailed information about CCSH online by going to our web page – ccsh.com.au. There you can catch up on all the latest teachings, receive this bulletin, and have a daily devotion delivered each day directly to your mobile device. Tonight, Pastor Marlon continues his series on the 7 Churches in the book of Revelation – tonight its Pergamos. Wednesday, we invite you to join us for prayer and our teaching overview of the book of Joshua. CCSH Youth started last Friday night and this coming Saturday 19th at 7:00pm – the CCSH Young Adults fellowship begins at Pastor Marlon and Hannah Le Chat’s residence. See either of them for further information. We have just started replacing the ‘tired’ Sunday school chairs and hope to have them all changed shortly. Do you know you can receive a blessing from God by serving here at CCSH in some capacity? You will find that as you serve, God will fill you with His joy and contentment as you personally commit yourself to His Church and His people. What better way of loving Him and thanking Him than being like Him in serving. See any of the Pastors or Elders as to how you can step out in ministry for God’s glory.
From the Pastor’s Desk There have been times when surfing, especially during winter, one is trying to paddle out beyond the beach break section of the beach, but the relentless power and continuous incoming swell, can make it a physical struggle. You may gain a few meters and then a number of waves will beat you back to shore losing any ground you thought you had gained. It reminds me of being a Christian living in Australia at this moment in our history. Wave after wave of ungodly changes seem to be washing over us each new day. Trying to drive us not only back but under. There is no let up on the work of the enemy on marriage, families, morality, faith and the Bible. What are we to do when we are being pushed back again and again? We are to remember like Joshua, that the battle is the Lords. We are unable in our own strength to resist the continuous waves of the enemy’s attack on all that we count righteous. But like Joshua, we need to cease fighting such things in our own strength. We are to remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood….that our weapons are not carnal….but that the battle strategy for our being able to break through the enemies attacks are found in God’s Word. God is in control, He is moving, He is allowing certain things to happen, but He will also lead us to victory. The greatest powers of darkness tried to hold Christ in the grave after He had died a cruel death on the Cross at Calvary. But just as Jesus said He would, He rose from the dead on the third day, and likewise just as He said also, He is coming back for His Church. Our task right now it to preach the Gospel and to watch and pray. As God assured the prophet Habakkuk, He is working and soon we will see it all come to pass. Hold fast, watch and pray!

Mar 16:15 – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so not distract others – thank you!
