Daily devotion – God is calling
Mar 8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Today, I believe God is searching for those who, have a great love for their Saviour, a real burden for lost souls, and who desire passionately to be used by God, however He desires. But this passion to be used assails them every day in such a way that they too sense God calling them in these Last Days.
Jesus Christ is calling out to such, to come to Him in full surrender. Is that you as you read this? Do you sense God calling you to surrender to Him in such a way that your life will truly impact those around you this 2022?
The world does not need any more lukewarm Christians, or lazy Christians, or quarrelsome Christians, or doubting Christians or those Christians full of pride.
The Bible tells us, “A double minded man is unstable in ALL his ways.” – James 1:8
What keeps you from a full surrender of your life to the King of kings and the Lord of lords?
Your response will make the difference between success and failure in your spiritual life – just as Joshua was told in the very first chapter of the book bearing his name.
It will make the difference between you needing help and being able to help others. It will revolutionise your habits, your prayer life, your Bible reading, your giving, your testimony, and your church relationship.
This is the Christian’s hour of decision in the year 2022!
