Coming Events ––Sunday morning pre-service, you are encouraged to join us in praying for God’s blessing on our services and all those serving – in classroom #1. Tonight, Ps Israel continues teaching us of the life of faith – a study through Hebrews 11. This week the Calvary Women meet here for fellowship, encouragement, and the study of God’s Word – currently the Book of Acts. Invite a friend to join with you this Tuesday at 9:30 am. Friday night at 6:00pm, Calvary Youth are active here at the Chapel. New Covid restrictions for places of worship commence as from Monday and next Sunday we will work to facilitate these with the least inconvenience to our gathering together. The mask mandate continues, and we pray that God will keep us safe in His loving hands during this time of the pandemic. With the threat of war in Europe due to the risk of Russia invading the Ukraine, there has never been a greater time and call by God for us to be a praying Church. Things will not get better as we grow closer to Christ’s return. Perhaps you used to pray with us but have not done so for some time. Now is the time to reset your opportunity to do so in these changing times. Wednesday we faithfully gather for prayer, and we encourage you to heed God’s call for His Church to intercede on behalf of our nation, His Church and your family. See you Wednesday night at 7:00pm. Parents don’t forget to teach and assist your children in their Sunday school giving as they learn to follow the Bible’s instructions on grace giving.

From the Pastor’s Desk Pity the man who falls and has no one to help him – Ecc 4:10 Any man or woman, boy of girl that has made a commitment to Jesus Christ is somewhat of a rugged individualist. How so? He or she is not going to live the same way everyone else lives; their focus in life now is to follow Jesus Christ. This may mean being shunned by family or friends, to taking stands for what is right and biblical instead of what is popular. But in other ways the Christian must not be a rugged independent individualist. Instead, when we come to Christ we become part of a family – the body of Christ, the Church. Instead of being concerned only about ourselves, we become concerned about others in the family of Christ and their needs. When a Christian truly loves the believers in his or her local Church, it is then they remain committed, faithful and can be depended upon to serve. Sadly. Many people treat Church as a drive through facility. They have no connection to the work of the Holy Spirit in that body of believers, provide no resources or service to it but just use it for their own selfish desires. The early Church in the Book of Acts was so committed to Christ’s work and each other that they sold all their possessions to share with others and met every day in fellowship, prayer, and the Apostle’s doctrine. May we be a Church that weeps and rejoices together as we move into difficult times.
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Keep this blessed Church and God’s work in Fiji in your prayers.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

“It is possible to give without loving, but it is impossible to love without giving.”

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so not distract others – thank you!
