Coming Events ––It’s just 29 days until Easter, so be praying for who you can invite out for our Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday services. We are in what traditional Churches call the period of Lent which started on the 2nd of March. Many Christians also use Lent to study their Bibles and pray more intensively. It’s always a good time to study God’s Word and to set aside more time for prayer. You can do all those here at CCSH by seizing the opportunities of the many services and teaching we have and not miss any if ill or away, by connecting to our live streaming service. Let us prepare our hearts as we draw closer to Easter. Your invited to join our 24/7 prayer team, our Sunday morning prayer saints, and our corporate prayer night each Wednesday. Make your families Easter more than just the traditional few days and let us make Easter 2022 a period of maturing and intensifying our relationship with Jesus Christ our Risen Saviour! Pray for the Churches in Ukraine please – they need our prayers so much!
From the Pastor’s Desk Watching this week, Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, holding a massive, organized rally, reminded me of the mass rallies organised by Adolf Hitler to propagate their deceitful leadership to a misled people. Seeking to portray the war as just, Putin paraphrased the Bible to say of Russia’s troops: “There is no greater love than giving up one’s soul for one’s friends.” Did you know Adolf Hitler did the same? “I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator.”- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 2 He continued to insist his actions were necessary to prevent “genocide,” a claim flatly rejected by leaders around the globe. “Even today I am not ashamed to say that, overpowered by stormy enthusiasm, I fell down on my knees and thanked Heaven from an overflowing heart for granting me the good fortune of being permitted to live at this time.” – Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, Vol. 1 Chapter 5. Why do I bring this to your attention? Jesus told us in the Last Days to beware of great deception. Just because someone quotes a Bible passage or mentions God does not make them a believer. James warned us of this as well – Jas 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. Many will be deceived in these Last Days who do not know their Bible and Jesus Christ personally. There has never been a more important time to take God’s Word seriously and literally. Otherwise, you are at great risk of deception!
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Pray that God will build His Church in Nasinu. Pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit upon His people and that His Word will be made known in Fiji! For God to open the door that we may visit and encourage His work there.

Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. Proverbs 11:24
