Coming Events –.We have a Big Week of opportunities as you can see listed above – all the services available. Ladies your morning together is on this Tuesday – invite a friend to join with you. Our prayer team is growing, and God is continuing to do the miraculous as we pray. Join us Wednesday evening and be part of the reason God is moving here at CCSH because His Church is praying. Church in winter is such a blessing. Rain outside, the cold air, but inside, prayer, praise, the teaching of God’s Word, being able to serve almighty God, this is what winter makes available to each of us – a time to draw closer to God. Parents don’t forget to see the youth leaders regarding the upcoming CCSH Youth rock climbing outing, forms and information are available. Please don’t forget to keep praying for the people of Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, stated this week that with the war going longer, he was worried the west would forget all about Ukraine. We as Christ’s Church must never!

From the Pastor’s Desk I am currently reading of the life of Hudson Taylor, the man God sent to China to reach the many lost souls there with the Gospel. There came a massive turning point in his life with God, when his faith reached a glorious moment and he detailed what happened in a letter home to England, “I wondered how to get faith strengthened? I discovered not by striving after faith, but by resting on the Faithful One. I saw it all! ‘If we believe not, He abides faithful.’ I looked to Jesus and saw (and when I saw, oh, how joy flowed!) that He had said, ‘I will never leave thee.’ Ah there is rest! I thought. I have striven in vain to rest in Him. I’ll strive no more. For Has not He PROMISED to abide with me – never to leave me, never to fail me? And precious loved one, He never will. Nor was this all He showed me, nor one half. As I thought of the Vine and the branches, what light the blessed Spirit poured direct into my soul! The Vine is not the root merely, but all – root, stem, branches, twigs, leaves, flowers, fruit…Oh the joy of seeing the truth! I do pray that the eyes of your understanding too may be enlightened, that you may know and enjoy the riches freely given us in Christ.” What amazing words. I pray you will be blessed as I was as Hudson Taylor shared this awakening in his soul!

Helen’s Heart– Romans 8:39 Nothing…shall be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ. Jesus our Lord. (Reading Rom 8:35-39). In Romans 8: Paul spells out wonderful comfort concerning separation. In the present, circumstances may bend us, but they cannot rob us of our Lord’s love. He loved them to the end. – John 13:1. And in the future, ‘no things to come’ can separate us from Him. We will be tempted to doubt and feel all alone but we have the promise, ‘Greater is He in you than he that’s of the world.’ So, no-one nor thing can separate us from His love. Amen!

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji The Church in Nasinu, is praying for and trying to complete some extensions to their home fellowship. building Please pray for them to be able to source material for the next phase, cement- rods, blocks, roofing iron, and nails and timber. Pray for their ministry’s this week, Bible study- Tuesday, Thursday, Prayer night and other services.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. Proverbs 11:24

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so not distract others – thank you!
