Coming Events ––.Calvary Women, this Tuesday here at the chapel we have a special women’s fellowship to encourage you in your walk with God. A time to study God’s Word, to pray and support one another. Next Sunday morning please prepare your hearts as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together – and remember our Lord Jesus Christ. Day: CCSH is offering you a series of small classes – to study the “Foundations in Biblical Truth” – Sundays before church – Time: 8:45 – 9:30 am – where – in the middle classroom (classroom 2), – age – 12 and up – What to bring: Bible, pen, workbook provided. Commit to 8 weeks of building a sure foundation in Biblical truth and grow massively in your knowledge of God’s Word. Please sign up at the information desk. Our servant team is growing but there is always room for you. Please fill in a Connection Card and place it in the offering container and we will get you serving. School holidays are approaching, and many families will be travelling. Make a point to not take a holiday away from God’s Word, family prayer and devotion during this time and instead make it a time to spend more time in God’s Word and in prayer as a family.
From the Pastor’s Desk This week in the USA, the U.S. Supreme Court has overturned the Roe versus Wade case on abortion. With this change, so far 26 states in the U.S. have already implemented the outlawing of abortion. Massive protests have occurred and will continue throughout the U.S. outlawing abortion. As I have listened to the many outraged to the banning of abortion by the Supreme Court, I am completely confused by those attacking anyone who is Pro-Life! I wonder also at their thinking, as I heard one protester against the change saying, she was concerned for her children and her future generations. Little realizing that her current pro-abortion stance if adhered to by her, would mean she puts at risk any future children she may conceive, or any future generations as a result. We now live in a world where one is angrily condemned for being Pro-Life, and that in its self is ridiculous! Well did Isaiah prophecy of the times in which we would be living in these last days – Isa 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! The most innocent of all lives are those in the womb. They have no voice, no vote, and our world desires that they have no life. This is heartbreaking. May we pray for all the unborn in our nation and ask God’s protection to be upon them. May they have the right to live!
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Pray for our mission’s outreach in the city of Nasinu in Fiji. Keep them and the Lord’s work there constantly before our Lord and ask His blessing and guidance to be with them.
Helen’s Heart – Before He made the world God chose us to be His very own through what Christ would do for us. He decided then to make us holy in His eyes without a single fault – we who stand before Him covered with His love – Ephesians 4:10 I am so thankful I am accepted in the Beloved, because I chose to believe. And this is true for all who choose to believe. May this acceptance be realised in our hearts for ourselves and for the children God has placed in our care. John 6:37 The Father gives Me the people who are Mine. Every one of them will come to Me and I will accept them. May God bless your week – Helen.

Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving – Proverbs 11:24 -25 There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who witholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.
