Coming Events ––.:
Today we celebrate Communion together as the Body of Christ. Tonight, Pastor Israel continues his teaching through the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel. Worship starts at 6:00pm. Next Sunday night, the Kids from CCSH will be presenting as special song for you to all enjoy with them. CCSH is offering you a series of small classes – to study the “Foundations in Biblical Truth” – Sundays before church – Time: 8:45 – 9:30 am – where – in the middle classroom (classroom 2), – age – 12 and up – What to bring: Bible, pen, workbook provided. Commit to 8 weeks of building a sure foundation in Biblical truth and grow massively in your knowledge of God’s Word. Still time today to sign up at the information desk. Join us Wednesday evening as CCSH gathers to pray together. Please continue to pray for the Churches and people of Ukraine as they struggle against the Russian invasion.

From the Pastor’s Desk We learnt last week that we as Christ’s Church are to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. The local Church cannot believe in peace at any price, for God’s wisdom is ‘first pure, then peaceable’ – James 3:17. Purity of doctrine of itself does not produce spiritual unity, for there are Churches that are sound in faith, but unsound when it comes to love. This is why Paul joins the two: “speaking the truth in love” – Ephesians 4:15. We are living in a time when more and more Churches are sadly drifting away from teaching the Bible, from having the Bible as the authority to which we should look in all matters. The balance of sound teaching, and the love of God is what we strive for here at CCSH and we seek to do this by teaching through the whole counsel of God. It is through the Scriptures that we learn of God’s love for us and also how He desires for us to love one another. This Jesus said, would be the sign to the world that we are His disciples!

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Pray for our mission’s outreach in the city of Nasinu in Fiji. Keep them and the Lord’s work there constantly before our Lord and ask His blessing and guidance to be with them.

Grace Giving – We have a container at the left rear of the chapel for your grace-giving, or you can give electronically via the following information. CCSH Account number: 2490144 & BSB: 306089. Our greatest encouragement for giving is that it pleases the Lord. Let us worship Him as we give and remember that God was unsparing in His giving Pro 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. There is one who scatters yet increases more; and there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. Proverbs 11:24

― Robert Murray McCheyne

Once the service has commenced, we ask that you please limit moving or having to leave your seats- the ushers will assist you, should you need to leave your seat, to return to a one located to the rear of the sanctuary so not distract others – thank you!
