Daily devotion – Time
Luk 10:42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
Time is the most precious commodity of which we have. Satan will always find you something to do. When you ought to be occupied in prayer, in fellowship, or in God’s Word, Satan will try to lure you away to do something other than be with God.
This week, take time. Give God time to reveal Himself to you. Give yourself time to be silent in His presence and quiet before Him. Wait to receive, through the Holy Spirit, the assurance of His presence with you and His power working through you.
Take time to read His Word as in His presence, that from it you may know what He asks of you and what He promises you.
Then you will be refreshed and strengthened for daily life and able to live it victoriously.
