Daily devotion – Its definite
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us – Psalm 103:12
There are a lot of grey areas in life. But then too there are the definite. Like gravity! Jump off a building and as you are falling you are becoming aware of the force of gravity. When you land – you are fully aware, gravity is definite.
If you could know beyond a shadow of doubt that God had completely forgiven you, what reason would you have to keep feeling guilty? Absolutely none!
God offers you exactly that: complete and total forgiveness, no matter what you have done. Jesus willingly took your sins and mine upon Himself, and He paid the penalty we deserved.
We don’t need to wonder if we have been forgiven; we don’t need to carry around a burden of guilt.
Today, God’s forgiveness can be as definite as the law of gravity if you will surrender your heart, repent of your sins and ask for God’s forgiveness, acknowledging that Jesus died to pay for your sins on the Cross of Calvary.
If you are a Christian, live in the definite, your sins have been forgiven.
Today, live now in victory and enjoy the grace and peace of God that is given to all who have received God’s mercy.
