What’s HAPPENING & WHEN –
With the increase of vehicles here at CCSH and to continue to have safety paramount in our parking area we have commenced a parking ministry team. For those who would see these servant positions as something they could assist in please see Pastor Nathanael for further information at the information booth. There are a number of serving opportunities that God may be calling you to. Be apart of His work here, fill in a Connection Card and be a blessing to the Church here in Secret Harbour and a faithful servant unto the Lord. Saturday night the Calvary Young Adults meet for fellowship and Bible study. See Ps Marlon Le Chat for any further information.
Pastor’s Desk
Last Wednesday night as the church gathered for prayer I am always moved by the Holy Spirit as to the power of the church praying and the time in which we are living. I want to encourage you to become a part of the prayer team here at CCSH. Wednesday evening is the most powerful time we as a church serve our Lord. Jesus spent so much time praying and so the disciples learned too that prayer in their own lives was critical in our walk with God. Maybe you think you prayers do not matter or you that you just don’t know how to pray with others. Paul tells us that it is the Holy Spirit Himself who helps us to pray. That is amazing in and of itself. Power in our lives, power in the church are predicated on our capacity to pray. What to do you ask? Just start being part of the prayer team and God will do the rest. Once you have entered this call of God on your life you will never be the same. Prayer will change you. Prayer is an invitation from God Almighty to His throne. We cannot ignore such a blessed invite.
Helen’s Heart From you the Word of the Lord has sounded forth – 1 Thess 1:8 If you are truly saved then you cannot help but share with friends and loved ones what has happened to your life. For you have been truly ‘set free’ from the power that held you and your old life (that you were not happy nor proud of) is completely gone. But your new way of living will be evident to them that they themselves would declare “what has changed you?” Pray for every opportunity to share how you have turned to serve the living God! J Helen
