Ps Keith will be taking a break from John’s Gospel for 3 Sundays as we address the birth of Christ and the blessed message of Christmas. The New Year 2024 is just around the corner. If you are not serving already here at CCSH, pray and seek God’s direction in how you can be part of the saints who serve here in 2024! 14 days until Christmas!
From the Pastor’s Desk – Had the privilege of looking after some of the grandkids whilst the Women’s End of Year gathering was on and was especially blessed. As two of the younger ones were placed in bed, the oldest child at home, said there was something important that still needed to be done even after we had prayed. He then proceeded to go into both rooms and sing the whole song of “Jesus Loves Me” with absolute passion to each little one. I was informed this must happen each night at bedtime! It’s the small things, the precious building blocks we lay in godly foundations, that lead to continued blessing and love for the things of God. Developing godly habits, we can all do in each of our lives whether we be single, married, have children or not. This is the path to growth in the kingdom of God. Little things such as having the Bible on the kitchen table that is read at mealtimes or whenever we need to seek God’s wisdom. It tells the family as a whole; God is in charge and ruling in this house. Or it might be the praying of grace before each meal or creating a Bible reading time for all in the house at a set time of the evening. What good Christ glorifying habits are you building in your home, in your daily routine? Those that happen each day even when people are visiting. Pro 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it. The Christmas season is a great time to start!
Helen’s Heart When the Lord God brings you into the land…then watch yourself lest you forget the Lord who brought you out of the house of slavery..Deut 6:10,12. Have you noticed that when things are going smoothly and you are in a period of blessing, it can be easy to forget God? We become indulgent and presumptuous, and self-sufficiency and pride can overtake us. Respect and gratefulness to God can bring us back into balance. Take a moment to thank God for all He has done for you.
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Let us be praying for the CC Nasinu Christmas services.

Deu 14:22“You must set aside a tithe of your crops—one-tenth of all the crops you harvest each year.Deu 14:23 Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship—the place the LORD your God chooses for his name to be honored—and eat it there in his presence. This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds. Doing this will teach you always to fear the LORD your God.
