Daily devotion – I the Lord do not change!
I the Lord do not change. – Malachi 3:6
Let us take with us into the New Year a solid foundation to which our lives and our family can rest upon. So that no matter the storm or the winds we are yet to face, our trust and love of God will stand firm on the Rock that is our foundation.
Scriptures for you and your family to memorise 2022 for 2023:
God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And because He is unchanging, He is completely trustworthy and faithful, God is unchanging in His holiness: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty.” – Isaiah 6:3
God desires for each of us, no matter our age, to live in holiness and with integrity all the days of our lives: “Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.” – Leviticus 11:44
God is perfect in all His judgments: Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’”
God is unchanging in His love: John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Gather your family, gather yourself unto the Lord in these last days of the year 2022, look back and learn, but now look ahead and trust. Let each of us grow and mature in our devotion and walk with He who is holy.
Let us bow our hearts and our knees in the presence of the holy God.
Let us live in awe of Him and let us rejoice in His love and His presence every moment of the coming New Year!
