In 2022, 88 shoeboxes were filled and sent to Southeast Asia and Fiji. This year, 2023, saw an even greater increase, with an impressive 122 boxes collected! CCSH Spring Clean – A swarm of dedicated servants descended upon CCSH last Saturday from 8 to 11:30 am, investing their time and effort to clean the chapel, church grounds, and classrooms from top to bottom. People of all ages brought a spirit of humility and eagerness, working tirelessly on numerous tasks that needed attention and more! We are truly thankful to God for each individual who served, and we believe the Lord was blessed by their efforts. A hearty breakfast was provided, allowing everyone to enjoy a feast of food and fellowship. To God be the glory for the unity and service within our church community!

From the Pastors Desk We don’t use the word backsliding much today. But it still occurs sadly today. When a believer begins to ‘slide backward’ in their faith, returning to old ways and living as if Jesus no longer means anything to them. Satan rejoices when this happens. But the good news is that God loves even the backslider and stands ready to forgive. Guard against sliding backward in your faith. Return to God – and He will return to you! Zech 1:3.

Israel Tour Group Just 95 days until we will be worshipping in the Holy Land of Israel. Deposits for Tour due 13th October, final payment on 17th November. At the moment we only have 28 people with deposits paid and there should be 41 – 43. If you have changed your mind and no longer are going please advise Noah Carmody as prices for overall tour costs are affected by tour numbers. Remember to pack for wet weather just in case. Read up on all the sites we are going to visit otherwise you will simply be overwhelmed in this blessed tour. Travel insurance to be locked away. Be praying for God’s protection and His blessing for us as we travel in this amazing journey to the Holy Land.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji Ps Keith spoke to Pastor Charles on Monday. Ps Charles thanked us again for our financial and prayer support. He asked if we could pray for his children’s adoption process, CC Nasinu’s Church recognition by the Fiji govt., and for an upcoming Youth Camp involving kids from many Churches in Fiji.
