This Week at Calvary Calvary Women’s Tuesday Bible study and fellowship is on the 14th of November, 9:30am here at the chapel – see you all there! On Sunday, Nov 19, we will be celebrating “Thanksgiving Sunday”, with a special message on giving thanks unto our Lord. We want you to be part of this special day. Write down the things you are thankful to God for at home, recent events, miraculous events, His goodness each day. Bring with you on Nov 19 that list on paper. During the service, everyone will be given the opportunity to lay their list of thankfulness down on the platform. To show our thanks to Him. This morning we gather for Holy Communion, a commandment Jesus gave to us that we should remember Him in this sacrament. Its only 6 Sundays until our Christmas Eve services. Time to pray about who you are going to invite to join with you in Church for Christmas 2023.

Events in Israel are not settling! With Gaza now surrounded by the IDF, Hezbollah with the backing of Russia and the Wagner Group (a private Russian military group funded by Russia) actively assisting Hezbollah, as well as Muslims from around the world flocking to join the fight in Lebanon, the northern border of Israel is another massive warfront. The U.S. promised $14 Billion aid to Israel for the war, but President Biden has just put a hold on that funding! Russia has control of the airspace over Syria and has not attempted to block Israeli jets thus far. However, this is now in jeopardy which would allow Hezbollah to receive enormous military supplies via Syria. Anti-aircraft missiles with the capability of shooting down Israeli jet fighters are possibly the next venture of Hezbollah from Lebanon. Will Israel be forced to make a pre-emptive strike of an enormous magnitude to survive? We can only watch and pray! Is the battle of God and Magog closer than we think as recorded in Ezek 38 – 39? God knows!

Helen’ Heart – Can anything happen without the Lord’s permission? – Lam 3:37. Satan had to get God’s permission before he could touch Job’s family and possessions and even Job. When our Lord stood before Pilate, Pilate said, Knowest thou not that I have power to crucify or release Thee – The Lord replied, Thou hast no power at all against Me except it were given from above – John 19:10-11. When we allow God to deal with all the circumstances that come our way, then we have the knowledge and peace that whatever comes is from His loving hand, and He will see us through.
