Daily devotion – Happy New Year
Phil 3: 12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
This Scripture I believe is one we can all look to as we end last year and begin the new!
There are things in my life that I know I fall short in, within my walk with God. Areas of my life that I look to grow and mature Lord willing, in the coming New Year.
My goal for the next 12 months is simple – I will press toward the goal for the goal of the upward call of God in my life.
May God in the next 12 months fill us all afresh with His grace and peace, may we grow in our knowledge of Him through prayer, reading His Word and fellowship with His Church.
So, my focus in 2024 is quite simple. To walk in God’s will and be obedient in all that He asks of me.
