Mat 7:3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?
Helen’s Heart
I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you who directs you in the way you should go – Is 48:17
I am a person who does not have the patience to read through the instructions especially if it’s a common item I’ve bought before. I recently bought an iron and was about to return it, then I thought I’ll read the book and give it one more try. Sure enough, the maximum setting was different to my previous iron and it worked. We can treat life as though it’s so simple we don’t need directions. Yet life did come with directions. Don’t ignore them. The results will be far more devastating than a broken iron – Broken lives, families and broken hopes. God never intended for us to be broken. Follow it’s directions in the Bible and He will teach us what is best for our lives.

Church Etiquette
We ask that once the service has commenced that should you need to leave the sanctuary that you are mindful to not be a distraction to those worshipping and listening to God’s Word. If you are returning the ushers will direct you to seating at the back of the sanctuary – thank you for your consideration.
From the Pastor’s Desk
I had the amazing blessing of a bit of one on one with one of our grandchildren recently and it will be a memory I will cherish forever. We talked about the call of God, ministry and serving the Lord. It was a simple discussion but a moment of time that God allowed me to have which I was the one who was blessed. Father’s, I encourage you to seek such moments with your children. Where you will talk of the things of things of the Lord intimately. Abraham was commended and commanded by God because he did such. You will be blessed when you seize the moment to talk of the things of God with your children as I was. Deut 6: 4 “Listen, O Israel! The LORD is our God, the LORD alone. 5 And you must love the LORD your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. 6 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. 7 Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up
