Love, Live, Fight – Part 2: Sealed

Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour   -

You are invited to join with Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour this Sunday evening from 6.00 p.m. as we get back into a new series we commenced a few weeks ago called “Love, Live, Fight” from the New Testament book of Ephesians.
Many are yearning and searching for the meaning of their lives. Some think it is happiness; others, long-life, or relationships, or possessions, or… it can become quite confusing. Are we, as Christians, confused as to what the purpose of our lives is?
There is a story told about William Randolph Hurst. He was a multi-millionaire and an avid collector of expensive and rare works of art. He read about a particular painting, and he became determined to acquire it for his collection regardless of the expense. So, he sent his agents out all over the world to find this painting. His search cost him thousands of dollars and lasted several months. When his agents reported back to Hurst, they told him that the painting had been found, but that he already owned it and that it had been stored in one of his many warehouses for years. He was searching for something he already possessed!
In Jesus, we possess all that we need and we are blessed with every spiritual blessing (Eph 1:3).
Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, and to us, has begun with a reminder of what God has done for us. This week, we learn again that believers are signed, sealed, and delivered because we have been chosen, adopted, and redeemed as God’s children. We exist to know God that we may bring glory and honour to Him by the way we live our lives.
See you on Sunday the 29th of April from 6 p.m. for worship and study in God’s word as we consider this important message and continue this new series.
