This week at Calvary. As you are aware, we are teaching through the book of Genesis Sunday mornings of which there are 50 chapters. For you to maintain the flow and not miss out on all that is in Genesis series, some of the chapters have been covered in our daily devotion that you can receive from our website each day. Therefore, we encourage you to receive our daily devotions to maintain continuity with us in Genesis. Special Guest Speaker: – We are excited to announce that Pastor Jim Stretchberry will be flying direct from Israel to be with us for both services, next week on June 16. Pastor Jim will bring the latest news from Israel, particularly in relation to the war, and share with us the wonderful ministry among the people of Israel. Mark your calendars for these services. Pastor Jim will also be bringing a special gift for us here at CCSH. Calvary Men: – Don’t forget to sign up for the breakfast with Pastor Jim. This will be a great opportunity for fellowship and to hear more about their ministry. Calvary Women: – This Tuesday morning, June 11, 9:30am here at the Chapel. Don’t miss this opportunity to join with other godly women from CCSH for Bible study and encouragement. As you are aware we gather as Christ’s Church for prayer every Wednesday evening here at the chapel. It may be difficult for you to join us at that time due to work, children, or other matters. But we are asking, that you will set aside the same time each week at home to pray with us, even though you are not physically here at the chapel. Our corporate prayer starts at 7:30 pm, so if you and your family would set aside that time at home, we can as Christ’s Church really impact the work of the Lord here at CCSH by praying together! Set aside the time and day in your diaries so we can pray together for the Lord’s will to be done here at CCSH – thank you!
From the Pastors Desk Have you ever experienced your bank services being unavailable, ATM’s out of order? Or perhaps like us this week, your internet provider having fault disruptions, so you are unable to connect or work on the internet? (Which is why our daily blog was unable to be published) It’s amazing how quickly our plans are stymied and have so much of what we planned shutdown. In addition, aren’t you amazed at how many people, businesses, government departments, require all your personal information.? People worry about an I.D. card being set up by government and I often think that everyone already has all my information now anyway. But the point of all this is that we are fast becoming a controlled, open book, society with very little privacy. All this is leading to a time in the not-too-distant future, after the Church has been raptured, and the antichrist has assumed his power of rule. During his reign everyone’s personal details will be used in his dictatorial rule. All except those who refuse to worship him, refuse his rule, have accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour, not taken the antichrists’ mark of ownership and obeisance. But if you are a Christian now, you need not worry or be perturbed of that which is unfolding, because Christ’s Church will be absent when absolute dominance by the antichrist swings into full power. The time is approaching rapidly. Revelation 13:14 – 18.

The enemy will tell us that what we do for the Lord is insignificant and counts for nothing. We may not be called for great things in our mind, but we can do the little things; the mundane things – whatever we can. When we do this with an attitude of love and devotion as with Mary of Bethany, God calls it good and that counts for much.
Sunday School Helpers – Your ministry in assisting the Sunday school teachers to maintain behaviour and concentrate, and in addition to help with the children’s activities is vital. Therefore, your quick response to the invitation to minister is critical. When you are expected to be serving and don’t present, sadly lets the teachers down. May we all work together to bless the smallest saints Jesus loves so dearly.
