This week at Calvary. Our Schedule – This week we are back into our full schedule, with the Calvary Women’s Bible study and fellowship commencing as well – Tuesday 9:30am here at the chapel. Calvary kids and Calvary youth all kicked off again last Friday to begin their fortnightly roster. Sunday school kids – Parents your children love being able to give each Sunday in their own Sunday school time. Help support them in this important part of walking with the Lord each week. Prayer Ministry — Our Wednesday prayer team and 24/7 prayer support group continue to hold each of us in prayer and the Lord’s work here at CCSH. You can join this godly group of people in this most important of ministries. See Marty Le Chat, our Church Elder, who oversees this precious ministry for us. Sadly, rockets landed in Tel Aviv again Israel Update – this week and people were killed during the attack. In addition, rockets landed on the west side of the Galilee as well. Please continue to hold Israel in your prayers. That peace may come to their land. Servant Opportunity – Our servant team is growing but there is always room for more who wish to actively be part of the body of Christ here at CCSH. To serve here fill in one of our Connection Cards and you can be on the path to bring the gift of blessing to others that God has given to you. 1Co 1:7 So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

From the Pastors Desk
For 289 days the war has been going on in Israel. Still rockets are falling on the holy land and Israel’s soldiers continue to defend their freedom and right to exist. Worldwide, antisemitism continues to grow and spew its hatred out publicly on the city’s streets with little resistance from authorities, including here in Australia. A member of the greens political group had her picture taken this week wearing the Hamas head band. Imagine during the time of the Nazi evil of WW2, that a member of the Australian parliament were to have their photo taken wearing a headband bearing a swastika? We are living in very different times where tolerance is ‘demanded’ for every form of perverseness and evil but for anything Christian or Jewish, major uproar and disdain occurs. What’s changed over the years? We have walked away from God! Evil has prospered, prayer has diminished, and the days before Christs soon return are closer now than ever before. The Bible tells us when Christ returns at the end of the 7-year tribulation, that He will judge the world with righteousness. Psa 96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth. The condition of the world around us is ripening for judgment. Peter tells us to live in these Last Days in readiness – 2Pe 3:11 Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live, – 2Pe 3:14 And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight. The time is short! Are you ready for Christ’s return or will you be caught out?

Helen’s Heart I have learned, in whatever state I am, therewith to be content – Phil 4:11 Whatever your current circumstances might be you can view them as an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus. These anxious concerns can cause you to fall apart or trust the Lord knowing He will not take you through anything, but which is absolutely necessary. Accept His plan and cooperate with Him – choose to be content knowing whatever comes your way that God is in control.

Grace Giving
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities.

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji
Let us continue to bring this work of God in Fiji to the Lord in prayer. May God use also the financial resources we send each month to open the people of Fiji to the blessed Gospel of Jesus Christ.
