Welcome to Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour! May today’s service be a blessing to you as we gather around the Lord’s table in thanksgiving, remembering all that our Saviour Jesus Christ has done for us on Calvary.
Church Spring Clean – Join us next Saturday at 8:00 am for our annual spring clean of the church grounds and premises. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve together, working for the glory of God as we keep CCSH in its best and cleanest condition. Please bring a godly heart, working clothes, and any tools you think might be helpful for the day.
New Security Cameras Installed – We’re grateful to Conrad and his team for installing a new set of security cameras this past Friday, ensuring an even safer environment for our congregation.
Calvary Women – Last Tuesday, the Calvary Women gathered for a time of Bible study, prayer, and encouragement. Don’t miss the next meeting here at the chapel on Tuesday, November 12. We look forward to seeing you there! –
Calvary Youth and Calvary Kids. Both groups will be meeting this coming Friday here at the church. We invite all young people to join for a time of fellowship, learning, and growth in Christ.
Supporting Israel Through AEBM – CCSH is sending $10,000 to the American European Bethel Mission (AEBM). Pastor James Stetchberry will use these funds during his November 14-19 mission trip to support hospitals, wounded Israeli soldiers, their families, and others suffering from the current conflict with food and essential provisions. “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you; and all the families of the earth will be blessed through you.” (Genesis 12:1-3)
Baptism Sign-Up – If you would like to take the next step of faith through baptism, please sign up at the information desk. This is a blessed sacrament and an important public confession of faith in Christ. Parents, if you feel your children are ready for this step, consider discussing it with them.
Weekly Gatherings – Be sure to join us for our evening service tonight and our midweek Bible study as we continue to grow in the grace of God through the teaching of His Word.
From the Pastors Desk
The war in Israel continues and there are few nations in the world where the Middle East conflict is not causing upheaval and dissention within their communities. As we draw closer to the Rapture of the Church as taught in detail by the Apostle Paul in 1 Thess 4, and the 7-year tribulation period, there is a growing divide happening worldwide. Those for Israel and those against her. The prophet Zechariah declared that Israel would eventually stand-alone against its enemies – Zec 12:3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. We can see the world, nation by nation slowly loosening their allegiance to Israel. But when the dust settles and the Lord has returned to reign in Jerusalem beginning the 1000-year rule, all those nations that turned their back on Israel will be forced to repent and gather year after year in Jerusalem to worship the King of kings. Any nation that refuses to do so, God will withhold the rains on their land, and they will face plague conditions because of their disobedience. Zec 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain. Israel will remain in the world news constantly until Christ returns. The Lord’s plan is underway for the redemption of His people, the children of Abraham. Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. . Let us continue to pray for them!
Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji We pray this week for God to anoint Pastor Charles as he teaches God’s Word faithfully. May the Church in Nasinu be filled with souls hungry for God’s grace and love.
