Daily devotion – always!
Never ever alone! That is the truth of our relationship now with Christ once we receive Him as our Lord and Saviour!
Matthew 28:20 – I am with you always even to the end of the age.
When Joshua was needing courage, strength and encouragement, God repeated to him that He would be with him forever.
Jos 1:5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
When David Livingstone returned to Scotland after 16 tough years as a missionary in Africa, his physical condition was like human wreckage – he was emaciated, his left arm hung down limp by his side, the outcome of being attacked by a lion.
But when Dr Livingstone spoke to the students at Glasgow University he explained what sustained him during all the struggles and hardships he had endured.
He said, it was Christ’s promise, “Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
In January 2025 that very same promise is ours too. No matter what trials you face, God is with you every step you take.
Remember that promise today – its yours!
