Ministry Opportunities – We have new ministry opportunities available, and you may be the servant God is calling to fill them! With the changes to our Sunday night services, we are in need of: Ushers, Greeters, Security personnel, and – Someone to assist with tidying up between morning and evening services. There is a blessing in serving, and God will provide for those who step into these roles. If you feel led to help, please see any of the pastors or elders for further information.
Next Sunday after Church we will be having a beautiful lunch together on the Church grounds. If you would like to help in the preparation and the cleaning up please see Paul Reid for further information.
We are taking a final call for water baptism before we head into the Autumn weather. If you have received Christ as your Lord and saviour, and now would like to follow that decision by water baptism please see either the pastors or elders with your details. Also, with the new year, is your child ready to graduate from Sunday school and begin to worship alongside you in the main sanctuary. If so we would like to have a graduation ceremony and prayer for them as they mature into this new venture in their faith. Please see Pastor Nathanael with you child’s details.

Pastors Pen2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him.As I view the Presidency of Donald Trump in the USA and the changes he has made in the short time he has been in the oval office, I am convinced that his appointment only came about by prayer. Yes there were many people also tired of the direction America had taken under the Biden administration, but never before have the Churches of Jesus Christ been so united in prayer with passion, and involved in a U.S. election as the one just passed. Why write about this when we live in Australia.? Only to highlight the power of united prayer and how much influence it can bring to bear. The problem we face in Australia is that sadly many Churches are completely devoid of prayer and prayer meetings. Thus they have no influence on our nation which is drowning in sin, socialism and active defiance to the Word of God and Christianity. We only have to look at our major sporting codes to see what are the ‘popular’ issues promoted of a people who have turned their backs on God. Two recent deaths in the AFL of young men this last week only saw the usual ‘bandaid’ approaches wheeled out instead of addressing the spiritual welfare of our nation. Anything and everything but Jesus Christ and His righteousness. Our nation needs us as a Church to pray. We must step into the breach that at this moment lays empty. Ezekiel 22:30 “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.

Helen’s Heart Study to be quiet…1 Thess 4:11 The world rushes around frantically and disturbed while the Church of God quietly steps aside and watches God work. A quiet spirit speaks of confidence and humility knowing our resource is totally the Lord. Andrew Murray says, “It is to have a blessed home in the Lord, where I can go in and shut the door, and kneel to my Father in secret, at peace…when all around is trouble.” Job in the midst of all his losses, learned to say ‘He giveth quietness’. We too can be as contented amid sunshine or storm as quiet. “A soul quiet enough hears God speak.”

Calvary Chapel Nasinu – Fiji . Please take a moment this week to bring Ps Charles and the Church to the Lord in prayer – be a partner with them in ministry!
