Are You an Ambassador for Christ?
Does your life manifest enough evidence that causes others to ask if you are “religious”? In other words, do people notice—by your behavior, your speech, and your demeanour—that you are a follower of Jesus?
Over the years of my working life, I have encountered people who have shocked me by saying, “I am a Christian too,” yet their actions, words, and attitudes never once reflected Christ. There was no visible evidence of His love, grace, or truth in their lives.
Whenever I started work in a new environment, I made it a priority from day one to ensure that people knew about my faith in Christ. Whether it was by keeping my Bible open in the break room or mentioning my involvement in church when asked about my life outside of work, I sought to make my faith known.
My goal was that every colleague would be aware of my commitment to Jesus, so that whenever God opened a door, I could share the truth of His Word.
Are You Known as a Follower of Christ?
The disciples of Jesus were instantly recognized as His followers:
Acts 4:13 – “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.”
Peter and John didn’t need to announce that they were Christians—their lives, words, and boldness made it evident.
Where Has God Placed You?
Every place you go—whether school, work, sports, or social settings—is a mission field.
God has strategically placed you there to be His ambassador:
Not only by being the best worker, demonstrating integrity and diligence,
But also by being His light and His salt in a dark world.
Looking back, my working life has been scattered with moments of witnessing—
Praying for colleagues, sharing the Gospel, comforting them in their grief, and even leading them to Christ. Whether it was visiting a co-worker in the hospital or attending a funeral, these moments were opportunities to bring Jesus into their lives. Doing all these things not as their pastor but as their Christian work colleague!

Every day as you step out—whether to school, work, or social gatherings—God is calling you to be His representative.
2 Corinthians 5:20 – “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ…”
Will people see Jesus in you today?
Are you ready to share the hope that is in you when God opens the door?
