Daily devotion – Noah enters the Ark.

Pastor Keith   -

Genesis 7:16
“And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.”

The day of reckoning came exactly as Noah had proclaimed for 120 years—but no one listened. At the end of the final week of preparation, Noah and his family obeyed God’s command and entered the ark. Then came a remarkable moment: the LORD shut them in. God Himself sealed the door, making the ark a place of refuge and safety.

Noah’s entry into the ark was a powerful demonstration of faith in the absolute reliability of God’s Word. He and his family didn’t run ahead in fear, nor did they delay in doubt. They trusted God’s perfect timing.

When the Lord shut them in, it was a clear sign that they were completely in the will of God and under His divine protection. From that moment on, the old, fallen world was behind them—forever.

As the Church today, we too await a day—the Rapture of the Church. How confident are you in God’s Word concerning what He says will happen in these Last Days? Is your faith steadfast?

If Noah were living today, would we follow his example of unwavering trust and obedience?

Jesus made a promise to His disciples in John 14:
“Let not your heart be troubled…”
In other words, trust Him—trust what He says will happen and what He will do with His people in these Last Days.

As we look back on Scripture and see how every word of God has come to pass with perfect precision, we can be absolutely sure: the next great prophetic event—the Rapture—is imminent. Let us live in faith, fully persuaded, and ready.

1 Thessalonians 4:14–18 (NLT)

14 For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
15 We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.
17 Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
18 So encourage each other with these words.
