Holy Communion Tonight at 6:00PM

What’s On This Week –
Welcome to Calvary Chapel this June Long Weekend!
We’re officially stepping into winter, and what a joy it is to gather as the body of Christ!
Tonight at 6:00pm sharp, join us as we celebrate the privilege of Holy Communion together. Let’s honour the Lord in unity and remembrance.
New Series Begins Today!
This morning, we launch into our new study in the book of Revelation. We encourage you to start reading ahead and not to miss our Wednesday night overview studies, which will help provide context and deeper insight. Join us in prayer as a church family during these nights—this will help ensure no one gets left behind as we journey through this incredible prophetic book.
Calvary Women
This Tuesday at 9:30am, the women’s Bible study and prayer morning will be held here at the chapel. All ladies are welcome!
Calling All Men!
We’re seeking godly men to help teach our Junior Church saints the Word of God. If you’re willing to serve as part of the teaching team, please see Pastor Nathanael with your details and availability.
Prayer and Salvation
If you would like prayer after the service, our Pastors and Elders will be available at the front of the sanctuary.
If you would like to know how to receive Christ today, we invite you to come forward as well. We’ll give you a new Bible, walk you through the Word of God, and pray with you as you take your first steps in becoming a follower of Jesus. – Maranatha!

Calvary Youth Update – Last Friday night, Helen and I had the privilege of sharing with and meeting the Calvary Youth. What a tremendous blessing is unfolding every Friday fortnight at CCSH! The young girls and boys were respectful, attentive, and deeply engaged. We are confident that many of them will soon take the next step in responding to God’s calling and begin serving in ministry right here at CCSH.
Remarkably, over 90% of them believe God has placed a calling on their lives—to serve Him in the unique ways He has gifted them. As their church family, our role is now to nurture, lead, support, and provide both spiritual and practical help to see them step confidently into those ministry positions.
At CCSH, we hold firm to the belief that age is no barrier to serving the Lord. We shared with them the examples of the infant Samuel and the teenage prophet Jeremiah—proof that God uses the young mightily.
Parents, if your child is part of Calvary Youth, we encourage you to talk with them. Let’s work together to see these young men and women stand strong in the Lord and be used mightily for His glory.
Daniel 11:32 – “…but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”

Grace Giving 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in our surrounding communities. Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

The Definition of a Cult:
Whenever any group claims that they, and they alone, have all the truth about God, then an alarm bell should go off in your heart and mind. Christ alone is “the way and the truth and the life” (John 14:6), and His followers are found within countless denominations and churches.
Cults tend to have several characteristics in common (one of which I just mentioned: They claim they alone have the truth, and everyone else is wrong). Cults also often have a strong leader who demands total and absolute obedience; some cults even require their members to cut themselves off from their families. Another characteristic of many cults is that they reject the Bible, or claim their founder’s writings are also divinely inspired.
The basic mark of any cult, however, is that it rejects the divinity of Jesus. The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ was God in human flesh—that He alone was both fully man and fully God. Cults, however, deny this, and often confuse people who aren’t familiar with the Bible by twisting its meaning. – Billy Graham Association

Bible Prophecy – the importance of studying prophecy is integral as a source of hope and preparation for the future. Furthermore, studying Bible prophecy brings “hope in a hopeless world” and helps individuals be “happier” by “looking up” towards the future. Let’s remember that Bible prophecy is not meant to scare us but to prepare us!
