What’s On This Week –
Our hearts and prayers are with the children of Israel as a new war front has opened with Iran. Since 1979, the Iranian regime has openly pledged the annihilation of Israel. Intelligence has revealed that Iran was nearing the completion of nine atomic bombs, prompting Israel to carry out a necessary pre-emptive strike. These sobering developments remind us that we are moving swiftly toward the coming of the Lord for His Church.
This latest escalation will likely further isolate Israel from the Western nations and intensify global antisemitism—including here in Australia.
Our dear guide in Israel, Yaniv, has remained in his bomb shelter since the conflict with Iran began. The entire nation is now under missile threat. Praise God, Yaniv is safe for now. He has asked us to continue praying for the situation as they face an uncertain and dangerous road ahead.

Amid the ongoing Israeli strikes against Iranian nuclear sites, military leaders and installations, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) revealed the regime’s covert nuclear weaponization program, as well as concrete plans to destroy the Jewish State in a simultaneous air and ground attack from multiple fronts. Iran “is supporting so many players, including the Hezbollah and Hamas movements, with the intention to destroy the state of Israel, and also seeking a nuclear bomb,” Australia’s Foreign Minister Penny Wong warned of “destabilization” of the Middle East: “Australia is alarmed by the escalation between Israel and Iran. This risks further destabilizing a region that is already volatile. We call on all parties to refrain from actions and rhetoric that will further exacerbate tensions,” she said. New Zealand and Japan declared the strikes to be “really unwelcome” and “deeply regrettable.”
Israel has launched Operation Rising Lion—targeting Iranian nuclear sites with 200 jets, drones, and sabotage teams to halt their weapons program. Iran responded with 100 drones.
These are not random headlines—this is biblical foreshadowing. The Bible said Israel would be scattered and regathered (fulfilled in 1948) and that Persia (modern Iran) would rise against her (Ezekiel 38–39).
Jesus said, “When you see these things begin to happen, look up!” (Luke 21:28)
He didn’t say panic—He said look up. Bible prophecy isn’t to scare us, but to prepare us. Let us all be aware that this is a spiritual war. Satan cannot attack God so he attacks God’s children. Let’s be ready. Let’s be prayerful. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Matthew 24:32–35).
