The strengthening of you faith
This Wednesday night before we pray, we will study 2 Thess chapter 1 where the Apostle Paul commends this amazing group of Christians.
He commends them because their faith was growing exceedingly and with that their love was blossoming even more!
What was the secret to their powerful Christian witness?
What were they doing that made the Apostle Paul describe their walk with Christ in such glowing terms?
We will see in detail Wednesday evening at the chapel but one great key to this amazing commendation by Paul was because:
They were facing great persecution – Paul said such persecution was solid proof that they were true followers of Jesus Christ. They were salt and light in a decaying and dark world! But their faith glowed in everything they did.
Their faith was being stretched, tested and growing stronger in their trials because of their faith in Christ and they looked to God for His strength in their struggles and not to themselves.
I pray that you will join us this week as we learn from these amazing Christians how to live a victorious life in difficult times in such a way that Paul praised their walk with God so.
Make this Wednesday a time you set aside to seriously be an active part of the body of Christ here in CCSH by praying!
