Once the service has commenced, especially during the teaching of God’s Word, we ask that you remain seated so not to be a distraction to others. Should you need to move the Ushers on your return will direct you to a seat at the rear of the sanctuary.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
What’s on this week
We pray a special blessing on all the dads and granddads today. May God richly bless you as you continue to spiritually lead your families to walk before the Lord.
As today is Father’s Day 2025, there will be no evening service tonight only to allow time for travelling and visitation. Services resume back to normal next Sunday.
This morning we celebrate the blessing of Holy Communion together—a time Jesus commands us to especially “remember Him.” Parents, the extent of your child’s involvement in this sacrament is left with you, with the understanding that we are only to partake if we have personally received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.
Calvary Women – This Tuesday at 9:30am here at the chapel is your special women’s study, currently in the book of Galatians. Invite a friend and be blessed together in God’s Word.
We encourage you to stay connected with all our Bible teaching series by using our livestream, YouTube channel, and Spotify audio. Also, please check the slides before each service for the latest updates on what’s happening here at church.
In addition, you can now use the QR code displayed on our slides to have this bulletin delivered directly to your phone or laptop.

Helen’s Heart
She does him good…all the days of her life…Proverbs 31:12 Do you see your husband as the Lord sees Him? Are you setting an example for your children to honour and respect him as the head of the household? It is hard to look at others when we view them from our own distorted expectations and biases. But when we see them and love them as God loves them, it purges us from resentment, hurt feelings, and grudges. Pray for the grace to overlook faults then – 1 Peter 1:22 lives out in us to – “love one another fervently with a pure heart.”

Grace Giving
2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. We encourage all of you who are part of our Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour Fellowship family to give without obligation but with a cheerful heart of worship. Your gifts allow God’s work to be done in “Judea, Samaria and the uttermost parts of the world.” Account name – Calvary Chapel Church Secret Harbour Incorporated – Account – 10891970 – BSB – 066-516.

From the Pastor’s Pen
Father’s Day always takes me back to when I first became a father, and then to the days following with the birth of each child. If only I could reclaim some of the massive mistakes I made during those times. I am so thankful for God’s mercies and His patience with me as a father.
The reality is that when I made foolish decisions, acted selfishly, or lacked kindness, it was my wife and children who suffered the consequences of my poor choices and lack of wisdom. I cannot go back and undo those errors, but I can, Lord willing, make sure I don’t repeat the same mistakes in the future.
Dads, we need to continually come before the Lord in humble prayer, seeking His forgiveness for the times our mistakes have caused hurt in our families. Thankfully, and all praise be unto God, our wives and children continue to love us and forgive us.
May we all, as fathers today, spend time at the foot of the Cross of our Lord—asking once again not only for His forgiveness but also for His help:
“Lord, help us to be better fathers and more loving husbands. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
