Welcome to Calvary Chapel

Media Team Servants Needed
We are looking for faithful servants to join the Media Team at Calvary Chapel Secret Harbour. Each time we gather, the team oversees the livestream so people around the world can join us as we teach through the Bible. As Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and preach the gospel, serving in this ministry helps our fellowship take part in that calling. Training is provided — please see Pastor Nathanael if you would like to serve.

Junior Church Mission Giving
Parents, please remember to guide and assist your children in Junior Church to participate in our missionary giving ministry. The children are blessed as they give, and so are our missionaries.

Baptism Next Month
Our baptism service is next month. To be included, please sign up and attend the Baptism class beforehand.
Children’s & Youth Ministry Opportunities
There are still opportunities to serve in the children’s and youth ministries each second Friday evening. See Pastor Nathanael for more information.

Building Extension Update – Our building extension process has now begun seeking tenders for the required trades and construction components. Please continue to pray for God’s guidance and wisdom for the church as we move closer to breaking ground.

Helens heart –
Mar 6:34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. I love the 23rd Psalm, it opens with, “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.” He is the Shepherd who is the Almighty Creator who holds the universe in His hand, but He is also the ‘good Shepherd who gave His life for His sheep’: With such care and safety, our part is to trust and follow. He chooses for us the safe path, He plans our future, He provides for us. Abandon yourself into His care and do not doubt, nor question and you shall not want for any good thing. The Lord is good to all…Psalm 145:9

From the Pastor’s Pen
The time for each of us grows closer to Christ’s coming, yet there often seems little urgency in the church. But when loved ones pass away or suddenly fall ill, we quickly realise how short our time truly is. May it not take walking through “the valley of the shadow of death” before God has our full attention. In Genesis 5, we read the generations from Adam onward — and the repeated truth: they lived… and then they died. Even Adam’s 930 years ended the same way. Scripture reminds us:
Psalm 90:10 — “The days of our years are threescore years and ten… it is soon cut off, and we fly away.” Life is brief, so God calls us to live wisely: Ephesians 5:15–16 — “Walk… as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Our life is only a vapour: James 4:14 — “It is even a vapour, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away.”
Let us not wait for tragedy to awaken us. Let us love, serve, forgive, and share Christ now — living each day with urgency as we draw closer to Heaven and to seeing our Saviour face to face.
