Heaven is Real…….!
Is Heaven real? How can we know if there is truly such a place? Or is it just some hopeful thing that we all imagine?
I am convinced Heaven is an actual and real place because God spoke of it to His disciples and God has placed the hope of Heaven in all of our hearts. It is almost a universal hope and its existence is sought in every religion and at every funeral.
However it is from the Bible that says this hope is given to us by God Himself.
How do I know Heaven exists? I know Heaven exists because of the death and resurrection of my Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. When Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, He removed the only inhibitor that can keep us out of Heaven: our sin!
When Jesus rose from the dead that third day as He promised He would, He guaranteed for all time that there is life after death, and that Heaven is real.
But the Bible tells us also that entry into Heaven is by one way and one way alone. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to the Father (who is in Heaven) but by Me.”
To get to Heaven you need to ask God to forgive you of your sins and receive Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Saviour.
Heaven is real and I long to be there, in God’s perfect time.
God has also set eternity in the hearts of men – Ecclesiastes 3:11
